My Why
“I conceived the idea for The Referral Book years ago, in the middle of doing the work myself—spending hours tracking down a bed, a counselor, a food bank that was actually open, for someone who needed it that day. I paused to raise my children. But the problem never went away, and neither did the idea. Now I'm back, building it with everything I have—because every hour a social worker spends searching is an hour a family waits for help.”
